Upper room Senior Pastor Reverend Berry Dambaza is said to have committed suicide at his church house corner Rezende street and Nelson Mandela by throwing himself from the third floor.
Details are still sketchy with rumors saying that he found his wife in a compromising position with an unidentified congregant at his church offices.

Reverend Berry Dambaza is the Senior Pastor of P.A.O.Z Upper Room Ministries. He is a live-wire power packed teacher and preacher of God’s Word. God Has graciously endowed him with a life changing and life impacting pastoral and evangelistic ministry which has resulted in many people experiencing salvation, miracles, healing and deliverance. Reverend Berry graduated in 1984 from the Pentecostal Bible College now known as Pan African Christian College (PACC) located in Harare, Zimbabwe. Reverend Berry also holds a BA degree from PACC. He is married to Sithembeni who is an assistant pastor at Upper Room Ministries.
Many have been baptized in the Holy Ghost and others have experienced dramatic encounters with God’s supernatural power in some of the meetings he has conducted. His ministry has seen him preach the gospel in Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, Kenya, the DRC, and the United States of America. In the USA he preached in Atlanta (Georgia), Raleigh (North Carolina), Anderson (South Carolina), Indian Mound (Tennessee), Oregon Park (New Jersey) and visited several cities as he travelled across the USA.
He is also an author. He wrote a book entitled, “How to be a vessel that God can use”.
He is a member of the National Executive of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe and is the PAOZ National Director for men. He also seats on several boards of organizations among these is the Village of Hope in Mt. Hampden.
He is married to Pastor Sithembeni Dambaza who is an Assistant Pastor at Upper Room Ministries and also a member of the National Executive. They have two daughters (Oreen and Oretha) and two sons (Osborne and Oracle).
