A great opportunity has risen in our down packed business for a Production Supervisor. The role exists to plan, direct and coordinate work activities and resources necessary for down packing of rice in accordance to cost, quality and quantity specifications

REPORTING TO THE UNIT MANAGER, THE
INCUMBENT WILL TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR

Duties And Responsibilities

• Production planning.
• Achievement of target volumes.
• Achievement of required quality structures.
• Overseeing security of raw materials and finished goods.
• Managing production processes to achieve required efficiencies.
• Facilitating planned maintenance.
• Managing SHE and implement strategies.
• Performance management.

Qualifications And Experience

ASPIRING SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years’ working experience.
• Must have knowledge and experience working with Packaging/VFFS machines in a down packing plant.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or diploma in Production Engineering/Production Processing/ Food Science or related field

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
• Sharp production focus with a drive for accurate results.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution attributes.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
